Cyient Limited, through its wholly owned U.S. subsidiary Cyient Inc., has acquired 100% ownership of CERTON Software Inc.

The acquisition of CERTON will strengthen Cyient’s business by adding unique, model-based systems engineering tools and test automation capabilities that are used to design, develop, simulate, validate, and verify safety-critical embedded systems, software, and electronic hardware.

Anand Parameswaran, Senior Vice President, Aerospace and Defense, Cyient, commented, “Cyient is very proud of our engineering capabilities, especially in the Aerospace and Defense industry. The acquisition of CERTON will not only further strengthen our presence in the avionics market, but also support our manufacturing services. CERTON’s solutions in the regulatory certification design, development, validation and verification (V&V) domain will enhance our competencies in the Medical and Transportation industries as well.”
