Digital payments firm Paytm has partnered with Maharashtra State Transport Corporation (MSRTC) to offer online bus ticket booking for its 9000+ bus services across the state on its platform.
The partnership will offer seamless bus ticket booking experience for MSRTC travellers across popular category fleets like AC-Shivneri, Shivshahi, Shivshahi Sleeper, Semi Luxury, Day Ordinary, Night Express, Ordinary Express among others, the company said in a statement.
Abhishek Rajan, Vice President – Paytm said, “We are happy to enable the MSRTC bus services on our platform to help provide a seamless and convenient bus ticket booking experience for bus travellers. Users can now easily book tickets for the state-run bus service for travel within Maharashtra and to the neighbouring states on the Paytm app and website.”
Including MSRTC, now Paytm offers ticket booking services for road transport corporations in 6 states. The others on the listings are Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC), Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC), Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC), Orrisa State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) and Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation – State Express Transport Corporation (TNSTC-SETC) and Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC).
