Hayden Clarken, a Twitter user created quite a stir online as he reshared a screenshot of Elon Musk’s travels which was originally shared by a fake account. This fake account is run by Jack Sweeney, a university student in his sophomore year. He is known to track the private jets used by celebrities by gathering information from different websites. Jack Sweeney does have a history with Elon Musk. Last year, Elon Musk offered him money in exchange for shutting down his account called ‘Elon Jet’. Elon Musk found his account to be a security threat. He further said that doesn’t like being targeted.  He offered Jack Sweeney $5000 for shutting his account. The 19-year-old turned down his offer and asked for $50,000 instead. After this, Musk was reported saying that it didn’t feel right to shut down the account.

9- minute flight in a private jet

By the findings of Jack Sweeney, it came to the notice of the people that Elon Musk that he took a 9-minute flight from San Jose to San Francisco which is 5 stops on Caltrain. The journey from Caltrain is 40 miles long which takes approximately two hours. It would have been a 45 minutes drive by car.

Carbon footprint

Many are furious over this situation as this 9-minute flight left behind a lot of carbon footprint. Carbon footprint basically refers to the greenhouse gases in the environment which is generated by the activities of human beings.  Carbon footprint leads to a lot of devastating changes in the environment. It is the cause of rapid climate change and acid rain among many other life-threatening changes. Elon Musk managed to outrage millions of people just because he wanted to save time.

Elon Musk is already involved in a lot of legal cases. Apart from being a part of SpaceX and Tesla, he is also a chief executive of the ‘BoringCompany’. This is a tunnel-digging firm, which is involved in projects for underground travel. Musk opened it because he got irritated with the Traffic in Los Angeles.
