Hotelogix raises $5 million in funding from Vertex Ventures

Hotelogix has raised $5 million in fresh round of funding. The funding round was led by Vertex Ventures. Existing investors Accel Partners and Saama Capital also participated in the funding round.

The company will use the fresh capital for product innovation and market expansion.

Prabhash Bhatnagar, co-founder of Hotelogix said, “As part of our global expansion strategy, we plan to expand our operations in Thailand, and make it the hub for Southeast Asia.”

Bhatnagar added, “Funding will be used to strengthen our product’s do-it-yourself capabilities that would help us penetrate further into regions including South America, North America, and United Kingdom, targeting independent hotels.”

Aditya Sanghi, co-founder and chief executive of Hotelogix said, “Rapid as well as well-thought out expansion is on the cards.”

Sanghi added, “We have gained a strong foothold in Indian market that has set the stage for us to now invest aggressively in this segment to scale up operations.”

Hotelogix was founded by Aditya Sanghi and Prabhash Bhatnagar in 2008. It offers all-in-one enterprise-grade cloud-based PMS (Property Management System) for small and medium-sized hotels. It allows user to manage multiple tasks at once.
