Locating the Death Cave
The Death Cave is situated east of the Rookie Village in the Cordon region. To reach it, head east from the village, keeping an eye out for a hill at the base of which lies the cave’s entrance. The path is relatively straightforward, but the real challenges await inside.
Navigating the Cave’s Hazards
Upon entering the dimly lit cave, you’ll encounter several gravitational anomalies scattered throughout the pathways. These anomalies can cause significant damage or disorientation. To safely traverse the cave:
- Equip Bolts: Throwing bolts ahead of you can help detect anomalies, as they react upon contact.
- Stock Up on Medkits: Accidents can happen, so having medical supplies on hand is crucial.
- Move Slowly and Observe: The cave’s darkness conceals many dangers; proceed with caution and stay alert.
Securing the Loot
Deep within the cave lies a hidden pathway leading to a treasure trove. To find it:
- Navigate to the Pond: As you progress, you’ll come across a small pond inside the cave.
- Head Left: Move towards the left side of the pond, following the illuminated area.
- Find the Crack: At the back wall, there’s a narrow crack leading to a secluded section. This opening is more visible when approached from the left.
- Enter the Hidden Area: Inside, you’ll discover a skeleton on a rock with an artifact hovering above it.
