How are things going, everyone? If you’re anything like me, you use the notes app to jot down all of the important details of your life, including all of your personal information. To protect all of that personal information, you use the lock note feature, represented by the little padlock you see here. It’s incredibly safe, but the problem is that it’s very common for us to forget the password because we always just tap on a note and then tap on view note using face id or you.
The fact is that knowing the password is quite crucial, therefore if you have forgotten it, you must pay close attention to this instruction and comprehend it immediately. We’re going to look at how to reset the notes app password on the iPhone 13 series. First, swipe up to return to the home screen. Next, pick Notes from the settings menu. Finally, scroll down and press Password. Now, choose the account for which you want to reset the password. So here I’m going to choose on my iPhone next tap on reset password so that you can create a new password for notes you lock in your on my iPhone account going forward notes that already have a password and are affected.
Tap on reset password and we’ll need to enter the phone passcode to reset the password now tap on reset password from the pop-up and it will ask you to enter the new password so I’ll put in one two three four and we’ll need to verify that same password. You’re done. You may wonder, “What’s the point of doing all that if I don’t know my notes password but can access it by tapping and using my face or using my fingerprint?”
Well, the notes app will occasionally ask you the password so it’ll actually ask you to manually type in the password so if you don’t remember you’re good to go. After we reset the password the new notes that we create will follow this new password instead of the old one. Okay, that’s really it for what I wanted to share with you. Please keep in mind that while a reset for all of them would be ideal, Apple won’t let us do that.
