Singapore-based programmatic media firm Oplifi has raised $750,000 from Mumbai-based early-stage venture firm Rainmaker Ventures.
Gautam Dutt, cofounder, Oplifi said, “We help clients amplify their creatives on digital media using programmatic platforms.There is a shift in the media industry and media planning and buying is shifting from a manual to a platform and machine-led process. India is an important market for us, which offers a lot of room to grow.”
Atul Hegde, co-founder, Rainmaker Ventures said, “We have been investing in companies in the digital space over the last few years. This will open up one more service line across our companies, as well as offer us an entry into the South East Asia region.” Since its launch in late 2015, Rainmaker Ventures has invested in, or acquired firms, which operate in the digital content, design and influencer marketing space.
Oplifi was founded in 2015 by Indian-origin entrepreneurs Gautam Dutt and Anup Kumar. The startup will utilize the fresh funds to strengthen its position in India and for expansion of the business.
