Healthcare startup Practo has taken rebranding so seriously that it has sacked 150 of its employees as well. Practo has around 1,500 employees as per the report by ET.
“Every year, we follow an annual performance cycle in April where some Practeons leave us to look for opportunities outside,” a spokesperson told Economic Times. “The same has been followed today and 150 of our colleagues are leaving us. This is a combination of performance and natural redundancies that emerge as we evolve our businesses and integrate our five acquisitions.”

The company unveiled its new brand identity and positioning – ‘Your Home for Health. Practo has offered two months of pay to the laid-off employees. Practo has given fired employees the option of staying on company rolls for the duration of two months and provided them with outplacement services as per the report by Office Chai. (Image- Practo)
