According to the image supplied by Samsung, the Pokemon-themed Galaxy Z Flip 3 would have a Pokemon bag to store the smartphone, Pokemon cards, a Pikachu key chain, and several Pokemon stickers. While the smartphone’s debut is still a few days away, people interested must wait till Samsung officially launches the smartphone and announces additional specifics regarding its availability.
It’s not the first time Samsung has collaborated with a company to make limited-edition smartphones. Samsung also sells a Galaxy Z Flip 3 Thom Browne Edition in some markets.
Earlier this year, the company also produced the Galaxy Z Flip 3 Olympic Commemorative Edition. The smartphone itself is frequently modified in the theme colors of the brand with whom the business is partnering.
Features you get with Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 Pokemon Edition
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 features a 6.7-inch foldable Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 888 5G CPU, which is paired with the Adreno 660 GPU.
The smartphone’s back panel houses a dual 12MP camera arrangement, which includes a 12MP wide camera and a 12MP ultrawide camera. The smartphone’s front camera has a 10MP sensor.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 features a 3,300 mAh battery and supports 15W quick charging. On the Galaxy Z Flip 4, which is set to be introduced later this year, the company is expected to increase the durability of the foldable screen, extend the battery capacity, and strengthen the main camera.
Trainers all over the world will covet the Korea-exclusive device, which comes in a special presentation box containing a variety of Pokémon-themed accessories and extras.
There’s a Pokédex carry pouch, a Pokéball pop socket, a Pikachu-tail key ring, and a clear case that can be customized for the Z Flip 3. To mirror the rest of the changes, the smartphone box is shaped like a Pokéball.
Inserts for the three major starters from Generation 1 — Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle — as well as Pikachu, Snorlax, and Mew are included in this case. Each case insert has the Pokédex listing and number, allowing you to swap out the Galaxy Z Flip 3 on the go.
The Galaxy Z Flip 3 comes in the regular matte black color but comes pre-loaded with a variety of software changes such as Pokémon ringtones, wallpapers, and device themes.
It’s unclear if these will be made accessible through the Galaxy Store at a later date, but we’re hoping those of us in worldwide locations will be able to sample these rare additions.
One perplexing feature of the limited edition is that Samsung isn’t providing a Pokédex-themed Galaxy Z Fold 3 – now which would be something. If you reside in Korea, you may register for pre-order alerts directly on the official Galaxy Z Flip 3 Pokémon Edition homepage.
