Netflix and the game’s developer, Tender Claws, are preparing for the new Stranger Things VR game, which is scheduled to launch next winter. Publisher Netflix and developer Tender Claws have announced a brand-new Stranger Things VR game will be coming to major VR platforms in the Winter of 2023. Stranger Things fans will be able to play antagonist Vecna very soon and carry out revenge against Eleven and Hawkins in Stranger Things VR. With the release window being a bit loose in Winter 2023, fans are having to wait quite a bit longer to get their hands and play Vecna. With a somewhat loose release window of Winter 2023, fans have a bit of a wait before they can embrace the role of Vecna. Regarding Platforms, there has been no confirmation as to whether Stranger Things VR is on track for a release for PSVR2 or some other, but considering that the title of the teaser is a virtual reality headset in your neighborhood, it is safe to assume that Stranger Things VR will be coming out on many platforms. Other than an official announcement, the winter 2023 release window, and studios working actively on the game, there has been no other precious gameplay info revealed.
While the major VR platforms are non-specific, we will note that PSVR 2 is scheduled for release in February, and Meta has already started teasing Quest 3 to be released later next year. While Tender Claws has not said anything, we would guess major VR headsets include Quest platforms (Quest 2, Quest Pro), PSVR 2, SteamVR headsets, and perhaps even pico headsets.
