15 Jun. 16, NEW DELHI: Multinational tech firm Microsoft enters online marketplace with the help of Tata’s latest online store, CLiQ. The online marketplace will now allow people to buy Microsoft products like tablets, computers, software and phones.
Speaking about the online store launch, Microsoft India’s Country general manager consumer channel group – Priyadarshi Mohapatra said, “Increasingly consumers are going online to shop for a number of things, including mobiles, devices and software.”
“We therefore are expanding our online presence through our official Microsoft store so that our consumers find it easier to experience and buy our products. We are excited to partner with Tata CLiQ and see tremendous opportunity in delivering Microsoft products and services through them to our customers,” – she added.
On May 17, Tech Story had reported about TATA entering online marketplace through its site – CLiQ, offering consumers a new shopping experience in categories like apparels, electronics and footwear.
Consumers will now be able to buy the products and services via several methods like click online and pick up at retail store, return to store and ship from store through a large on-ground store network of tie-up-brands.
