SolarCity doesn’t just strive to offer energy cost savings, it wants the panels to add an aesthetic to the home that we can’t get with any other solar company.
Here’s how solar energy system works :
- Photovoltaic (PV) cells convert sunlight to direct current (DC) electricity.
- The inverter converts DC into alternating current (AC) electricity.
- The electrical panel sends power to your lights and appliances.
- The utility meter measures the energy you draw and feed back to the grid.
Tesla and SolarCity have been spending heavily over the past few years, as the companies try to grow rapidly. Mark the date, October 28th, let’s wait and watch for Musk’s solarcity rooftop!
