Although Ming-Chi Kuo projected that Apple will reveal its much-awaited AR/MR headset during its recent WWDC 2022, this did not happen.
Although the firm announced the next-generation iOS and iPadOS, among other things, it made no mention of augmented or virtual reality. Now, Kuo has some new information on the subject, claiming that Apple’s AR/MR headset will be available in shops before next year’s WWDC event.
Apple’s AR/MR Headset Will Be Available Next Year
Ming-Chi Kuo, a well-known Apple analyst, recently took to Twitter to give some information on Apple’s impending AR/MR headset. Due to the lockdowns in Shanghai, Kuo expects that the release date of Apple’s AR/MR headset would be pushed back to the second quarter of 2023.
In a subsequent tweet, the analyst speculated on the AR/MR headset’s development schedule, suggesting that it will enter the EVT (Engineering Validation Test) stage in Q3 2022. He also stated that Apple will conduct a media event to introduce the gadget in early 2023, most likely in January.
