24 December, 2015, Gurgaon: In its recent round of seed funding, Cityfurnish owned by Magneto Home Pvt Ltd., a Gurgaon based company has managed to raise an undisclosed amount funding from Jitendra Gupta, Co-Founder, Citrus Pay.
Cityfurnish came into inception in September, 2015. Founded by Neerav Jain, it deals in furniture, furnishings and appliances on rent. Currently company operates in Gurgaon and Delhi NCR but it is planning to venture in Bangalore market in the coming years. It has successfully completed furnishing of 175 properties and in the coming year, it has planned to complete 200 more by January, 2016.
Speaking exclusively to techstory.in, Neerav Jain opined, “We are delighted to get Industry veteran Jitendra as a director on board, his insights and experience are valuable to us as new generation entrepreneurs and it will be a great help to us in making our mark in the segment and changing perception of users towards renting or shared economy”
On 23rd December, 2015, Cityfurnish also launched a very interesting offer for other startups, the company is offering three months free furniture on subscription of 12 months plan. “As early stage start-ups face challenges of capital and available funds can be used on more important things, this offer will be useful for many start-ups establishing their new offices.”, adds Neerav.
