6 May, 2016, Lucknow: In its recently concluded funding round, EduAce Services has raised US $1 million funding from MoMagic Technologies, a Delhi-based mobile internet company. EduAce is a joint venture of Gaurav Yadav and Kalpana Singh and it deals in educating students with the help quizzes.
Recently, company has flagged off its flagship program called ‘Pratibha Ki Khoj’ to motivate students to get enrol into this interesting learning program. Apart from quizzes, the firm also organises workshops and mentoring programmes for students called G-QAT and these programmes test the general knowledge and IQ of the students. Now, the company is also planning to launch workshops for teachers also well.
“We have a unique format. General knowledge is a part of the curriculum till class 8th and after which it is left to the student to pursue, even though current affairs is a major segment in many competitive exams. This is what we want to change and bring in quizzing as an active form of learning,” said Gaurava Yadav. The company plans to utilise the raised amount in adding more learning programmes on to its grid and to spread its wings to other parts of the country.
