They can do this online by lo0gging in at the personal duty e-recording gateway — https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal. Under Segment 139 (5) of the personal expense act, 1961, a citizen can reexamine one’s ITR and record an overhauled ITR by eliminating the mistake in the first return.
Talking on the changed I-T return recording, SEBI enlisted expense and speculation master Jitendra Solanki said, “Under Segment 139(5) of the personal duty act, 1961, a citizen is permitted to document a modified ITR and right the data filled in the first return. 4] In the wake of opening of the annual expense form page, select AY 2022-23 and ‘Online’ as ‘Select Mode Recording’;

6] Select one of the status — individual, HUF and others — appropriate on you;
7] Select right ITR structure and continue with the data looked for;
8] In the wake of filling the ITR structure, you would need to e-confirm your amended personal assessment form.
