Menterra announced its latest investment in Vadodara-based startup Math Buddy, a developing hands-on and interactive Math learning products that help children explore, experience and enjoy Math learning.
With 1500 activities, 800 interactive worksheets and assessments and an online Olympiad, Math Buddy is now in over 200 schools across 19 states, with plans to expand to 2000 schools in the next three years.
“Many children develop a fear for Math when they do not understand concepts in their formative years, especially when they are in Classes 3- 7. We want to change this; we want to help children enjoy learning Math, and the key to achieve this is to help them learn with understanding,” said Kannan Bharadwaj, co-founder of Math Buddy.
Mukesh Sharma, Founder and Managing Director, Menterra Venture Advisers said, “For too long, funding and support has been restricted to the big cities which are seen as startup hubs, while there is deserving talent in Tier 2-3 cities. We are looking for strong entrepreneurial teams from all corners of the country as long as they demonstrate a deep commitment to creating impact and a desire to build a sustainable and scalable business.”
