India’s leading web and mobile app platform OnlineTyari has acquired a photo and video sharing platform Plix. The app makes private sharing easier, and get every shareable photo to its intended viewer in a Private and secure way.

OnlineTyari is one the India’s leading web and mobile app platform providing complete solution for online preparation for different competitive exams. It offers a mobile application that allows highly customized, curated and vernacular test preparation content delivered through very low internet bandwidths.

Vipin Agarwal, co-founder and CEO of OnlineTyari said, “The acquisition of Plix is strategic to our vision and mission. Our goal is to improve education and skill development for more than 100 Mn Indians, each year. With Plix, and the talent they bring to our team in the field of machine learning, image recognition and analytics, we will be able to deliver on multiple use cases for our users that will solve challenges around making the platform more intelligent and scalable. We look forward to working with and building greater value for our users with Apurv and his high-energy team.”

OnlineTyari was founded in 2014 by IIT Kanpur alumni Vipin Agarwal and Bhola Ram Meena. Recently, OnlineTyari raised $2.1 million funds from Michael & Susan Dell Foundation.
