02 January 2016, USA:
Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey has taken a public opinion on what features should be added on Twitter. The response was quite obvious with majority asking for an edit button. Some even said to copy Facebook and Dorsey replied- “Copying others is not what I aspire us to be. We will learn from others. And do it in our own way.”
Thanks for all the feedback yesterday! 4 clear themes you want us to work on: abuse, edit, topics & interests, and conversations. https://t.co/hMJMZ3P0Rz

Twitter users have long called for the ability to edit tweets after the fact—a feature that is necessary for everything from correcting minor spelling and grammar mistakes to correcting misconstrued information—a relatively common occurrence given the platform’s self-imposed character limit.
Edit, Abuse, Topics And Interests and Conversations are the top four features from the public poll. Will they be implemented soon? Might not be. Edit will come up for sure, rest of the features will eventually updated. Image- Recode
