08 August 2017, India:

Vice President at Flipkart and Head of Marketplace Anil Goteti will head recently acquired eBay India where he will also steer the cross-border trade business.

Goteti joined Flipkart in 2012 and previously worked at McKinsey and a senior systems engineer at Qualcomm.

eBay India’s current country manager Vidmay Naini will report to Goteti. Flipkart has said eBay.in will remain an independent entity as part of the company. eBay will no longer report active buyer GMV and related financials for eBay India. Naini, however, will continue to manage the relationship with eBay Global, Flipkart said.
