BlackBerry might have shut down smartphones but is still working in the field of tech. As per the latest report, the company is working with two of the leading automobile companies- Aston Martin and Jaguar Land Rover to develop an anti-hack tool.
Macquarie analyst Gus Papageorgiou explained that the tool will remotely scan vehicles for computer viruses and tell drivers to pull over if they were in critical danger.
The service could be launched as early as next year, generating about $10 a month per vehicle for BlackBerry, according to Papageorgiou, who has followed BlackBerry for more than 15 years, Daily Mail reported.
