27 February, 2016, USA: Facebook is planning to gift another feature to its android user. The company is closely working on its latest feature which will allow its users to stream in live videos with the help of their android phones. If all goes according to company’s plan, Facebook will release its new feature by next week.
This live feature was first launched on iOS in USA but after seeing its great success, company is planning to bring it into the new markets. Currently the feature is available in more than 30 countries. “Company plans to bring it to new markets ‘within the coming weeks,’ says Facebook.
Facebook team has been constantly focusing on this new feature as it looks to broaden its news feed to include more real-time content. Facebook stated in a statement, “The average time its users spend watching live video is three times longer than when the video is not live. Of those watching live content through Facebook Live, more than 50 percent are Android users.”
Apart from that, the new feature will also allow user to post comment on the real-time, hit the subscription button and can get notification whenever the new broadcast begins. The recordings of the broadcast are automatically saved to the user’s timeline unless he goes back and delete them.
