A group of hackers- Turkish Crime Family are demanding a ransom of $150,000 from Apple and threatening to wipe out millions of account.
Turkish Crime Family claims to have access to login credentials for more than 627 million icloud.com, me.com and mac.com email addresses. The hackers have since shared screenshots of their communication with the Apple security team, as well as access to the email address they used to contact the company.
“I just want my money and thought this would be an interesting report that a lot of Apple customers would be interested in reading and hearing,” a member of Turkish Crime Family told Motherboard.
Apple is reassuring customers that its systems have not been breached while a hacker, or hackers, threaten to remotely wipe hundreds of millions iPhones of all their data, including photos, videos, and messages. (Image- Business Insider)
