Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio is now available in India (Feb 15). The gadget was first introduced in the United States last year and is geared at developers, creative workers, designers, and gamers.
It’s indeed available in several configurations and therefore is advertised to give “desktop power, laptop mobility, and a creative studio.” It is the most powerful Surface laptop ever, thus according to Microsoft.

In September of last year, Microsoft debuted the Surface Laptop Studio in the United States. Magnesium and aluminum are used to make the casing.
This laptop arrives with Windows 11 pre-installed and includes a Dynamic Woven Hinge which allows its display to move in different directions. Because of the hinge, the device may transform from a traditional notebook to a tablet or a canvas.
The Surface Slim Pen 2 may be magnetically linked to the area beneath the keyboard. The Studio Laptop features a 14.4-inch PixelSense Flow Display with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,600 pixels, 10-point multi-touch, and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The display also boasts a 201ppi resolution, a 3:2 aspect ratio, and Dolby Vision compatibility.
The Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio features quad-core Intel Core H35 CPUs (up to 11370H), up to 32GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and up to 2TB of SSD storage.
Intel Core i5 models include Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics, whilst also Intel Core i7 models incorporate up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti dedicated GPU with 4GB of GDDR6 memory.
The gadget has Windows Hello facial authentication, a 1080p front-facing camera, two far-field Studio Mics, and Quad Omnisonic speakers with Dolby Atmos.
The Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio has Firmware TPM for enterprise-grade security and BitLocker compatibility, enterprise-grade protection with Windows Hello facial sign-in, and Windows enhanced hardware security.

Another feature of the convertible laptop is its ability to transition between laptop, stage, and studio modes. Laptop mode replicates the feeling of a typical laptop.
Stage mode is used for gaming, streaming, docking, and presentations by pulling the display forward to a position where the keyboard is covered but the touchpad is accessible. The third mode is Studio Mode, which may be used as a canvas or for taking notes.
The Surface Laptop Studio’s connectivity options include two USB Type-C ports (USB 4.0/Thunderbolt 4), a 3.5mm headphone jack, a Surface Connect connector, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth v5.1. The laptops with Intel Core i5 processors are touted to have a battery life of up to 19 hours on normal device usage and incorporate a 65W Surface Power Supply adapter.
The Intel Core i7 models are touted to have a battery life of up to 18 hours and come with a 102W Surface Power Supply adapter. The laptop’s dimensions are 323.28×228.32×18.94mm. Surface Laptop Studio with Intel Core i5 processors weighs 1.7kg, while those with Intel Core i5 and i7 processors weigh 1.8kg.
Pricing for Microsoft Laptop Studio
In India, the basic model with an Intel Core i5 11th Gen CPU, 16GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage cost Rs. 1,56,999 (business pricing) and Rs. 1,65,999 (consumer price). The top-of-the-line model costs Rs. 3,43,499 in India and has an 11th-generation Intel Core i7 CPU, 16GB of RAM, and 2TB of storage.
The Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio will be available for pre-order on February 15 and will be available for purchase in India on March 8 through commercial authorized resellers, select retail, and online partners.
