1 March, 2016, USA: Facebook has added one more feature in its armoury. In its recent announcement, company has revealed that its private photo sharing application, Moments will now support video sharing as well. This latest feature is now available in the updated version of Moments’ mobile application for iOS and Android devices.

Adding another piece of information about the new feature, Facebook stated that now Moments will also allow users to include videos in their Moments slideshows. Since its launch in June 2015, more than 400 million photos have been shared in Moments, with 100 million of those in the last month, alone. Facebook has been very actively promoting the app on its platform and aforementioned figures suggest that it has hit the right target.

Facebook has endorsed the app on its news feed and other services such as Facebook notification and Facebook messenger. The app simplifies photo sharing by automatically identifying who’s in the photo and when and where it was taken in order to make smart suggestions about to whom the user should send a group of photos. Now, the company has equipped Moments with video sharing facility. This new addition will soon allow its users to include their photos as well as videos in their slideshow.
